Fitted oak engineered floor

I fitted a lovely smoked oak engineered floor last week in an upstairs maisonette in Wimbledon.

Usually I glue the floors down for extra stability, however if a floor is being fitted in an upstairs maisonette/ flat, then an acoustic barrier underlay needs to be put down first. This drastically reduces the transmission of sound to the neighbours downstairs and keeps them happy!
